Accredited Registration for Individuals

Individuals who complete VEGA as an accredited activity will receive a certificate of MOC or Mainpro + continuing education credits.  To receive this certificate, users will be required to complete:

  1. All modules and activities within VEGA’s Family Violence Education Resources
  2. A self-declaration indicating completion of the above activities on the VEGA Family Violence Education Resources website
  3. A 15-question post-test

Once all of the above requirements are complete, you will receive a Certificate of Completion for continuing education credits that allows physicians to claim:

  • 3 RCPSC MOC credits
  • 3 Mainpro+ credits

Through an agreement between the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert Royal College MOC credits to AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Information on the process to convert Royal College MOC credit to AMA credit can be found at https://www.ama-assn.org/go/internationalcme.

Certificates are not meant to imply verification of a specific level of knowledge, skills, or competence related to safely recognizing and responding to family violence.
