CME credits
Individuals who complete VEGA as an accredited activity will receive a certificate of completion for Mainpro+ continuing education credits.
Mainpro+
To receive this certificate, users will be required to complete:
1. All modules and activities within VEGA’s Family Violence Education Resources.
2. A self-declaration indicating completion of the above activities on the VEGA Family Violence Education Resources website.
3. A 15-question post-test.
This one-credit-per-hour Self- Learning program meets the certification criteria of the College of Family Physicians of Canada. It has been certified by the Continuing Professional Development Office (CPD) at McMaster University for up to 3 Mainpro+ credits.
MOC
Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada members may claim 0.5 Section 2 self-learning credits (under courses) for each hour spent on completing the VEGA Family Violence Education Resources modules.
Certificates are not meant to imply verification of a specific level of knowledge, skills, or competence related to safely recognizing and responding to family violence.
